[i am a maker] leads a team of volunteer stitchers with Make4Covid on making sewn protective gear for medical workers, teachers, students and others in need. As a team we have made over 15,000 articles of PPE since March 2020 and we continue to sew among our volunteer distributive manufacturing network.

Make4Covid is a Colorado-based remotely-collaborative community of makers, designers, industry experts, and healthcare professionals. We work together to design and manufacture equipment for doctors, nurses, first responders and essential workers who are seeking assistance with personal protective equipment (PPE) in light of predicted shortfalls. The Make4Covid community has delivered over 100,000 articles of PPE including face shields and sewn face masks.

Make4Covid continues to make a difference working alongside medical professionals, regulators, and experts, the Make4Covid community is designing, testing, and manufacturing medical and protective equipment to address the ongoing critical need. [i am a maker] is a proud partner. If you would like to become involved in our sewing network, please click here to learn more!

Make4Covid PPE deliveries included Angel Flight West flights to Colorado rural hospitals.
